The services the VICTRI provides helps to fill the gap between getting educated in business skills. starting a new business and gaining the professional experience as an entrepreneur.  We understand how critical the initial steps are for getting a business up and running successfully.  These services will allow the Veteran to apply critical initial seed capital toward reaching business goals rather than squandering them on unnecessary infrastructural costs.  The VICTRI provides:

·         Office space that will include a laptop docking station, existing desktop computer and phone

·         An initial mailing address

·         Business Library (in partnership with the James J. Hill Library)

·         Business consulting services

·         Print & copy services

·         Secretarial services including voicemail

·         Accounting services

·         Legal services

Additionally, the center has a professional boardroom to host business meetings & conferences, present business plans and conduct due diligence with potential investors. 

Support

The VICTRI continues to support the Veteran entrepreneur through several programs.  The staff of the VICTRI provides an ongoing support structure to the Veteran entrepreneur and provides any needed guidance through the initial start-up maze.  More importantly, the Veteran entrepreneur has the network of other Veteran entrepreneurs that are using the center to bounce ideas off of, create synergies and partnership with and build their growing network of success.  Ranger Buddies for business success.

To further enhance the education experience and provide a “practical exercise” for the skills the Veteran is going to need to ensure their success, the VICTRI is also building a network and resources the Veteran entrepreneur can use to apply for capital investment into their business.  The VICTRI conducts due diligence of the applying business which includes in-depth review of business plan, financials, Return on Investment, leadership team, marketing plan, etc.  This due diligence process will “fill in the gaps” for the Veteran, make them more confident in themselves and their business and increase their marketability to future investors.  This process also, upon successful completion, provides the Veteran with initial seed capital, loan, investment or financing to continue their march to success.

The VICTRI is also partnering with public and private corporations in order to establish three programs that are essential for both the growth of the VICTRI, as well as the growth of the Veteran entrepreneur:

·         Leadership & Industry Conferences and Roundtables

·         Veteran Businessperson Mentorship

These programs are targeted to continue the growth of the Veteran entrepreneur community, increase the cohesion among Veterans in the business community at large and grow opportunities for Veteran-owned businesses.
